As we prepare for the leaves to turn and another colorful New Jersey season to roll in, Union County residents can look forward to another exciting community celebration. Yes, the Union County Fair is around the corner, and with big-name musical acts, fall harvest events and more, this one is sure to bring out the crowds.

From Wednesday, September 14th through Sunday, September 18th, visit Clark Township’s Oak Ridge Park to catch the fair, featuring over 20 rides, loads of refreshments and games galore. Throughout the 5-day run, look forward to attractions including the Thursday night fireworks show and, on Saturday and Sunday, the Kids’ Kingdom Traveling Jubilee. On Saturday, participate in or lend your support to the Rock on! Walk-a-thon and 5K run, raising funds for research to fight cancer. For the sustainability-inclined, there’s the Green Village, an art installation made out of recycled plastic bottles by artist Christene Selleck–also hosting a DJ and dance floor! And to celebrate the bounty of the season, there’s the Harvest Contest, where the best tomatoes, zucchinis and pumpkins weigh off.

If all that weren’t enough, look forward to a star-studded musical line-up at MusicFest, including Blondie, Collective Soul, and Live’s Ed Kowalczyk.

A jam-packed and rocking five days, the Union County Fair is the place to be from September 14th-18th. Be sure to stop by and take in all the action! Oak Ridge Park is located off of Oak Ridge Road in Clark Township.
