Woodbridge has some excellent restaurants, offering up a range of cuisines — from barbecue to Thai to Mexican, Peruvian, Japanese, Indian, Italian and beyond. And next month, some of the restaurants located in the Colonia neighborhood of Woodbridge are coming together for the community’s annual “Taste of Colonia” benefit.
On Friday, February 1st, head out to the Colonia Country Club, for a sampling of the wide range of cuisines offered by nearby restaurants and caterers. Sponsored by the Colonia Business Community and The Corner News Publication, this event brings in resources for the Have-A-Heart food drive, which raises funds and food for local food banks. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable goods to donate to the drive.
Tickets to the benefit are $30 per attendee and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are available at Advanced Family Chiropractic at 622 Inman Avenue or via Councilwoman Debbie Meehan at 732-382-0273.
