With pandemic restrictions continuing to make indoor gatherings a challenge, this year, the Borough of Carteret extended its beloved outdoor Concerts in the Park series into fall. And if you haven’t had a chance to go yet, there’s still one more concert in store.
Each Friday at 7pm in Carteret Park, there’s been music to bring you back — from Moonlight Mile, a Rolling Stones tribute band, to Flannel & Lace, playing classic rock hits, to Fox & the Owl, playing soulful hits from the 60s and 70s. This Friday, look forward to Andrea Nies Trio, playing sounds from 80s pop to the music of today. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating, and be sure to check the weather before you head out — the event is subject to rescheduling in the event of rain.
