Edison residents at  Edison WoodsEdison Woods Senior 55+Edison VillageBlueberry Village, & Rivendell Heights, are invited to join (in-person or online) an illustrated lecture with Historian and Storyteller Marty Schneit entitled BROOKLYN BRIDGE-BROOKLYN HEIGHTS on Wednesday November 16 @7:30pm. 

Marty will talk about the first great battle of the American Revolution which just happened to take place at the Greenwood Cemetery and would one day become known as the “Battle of Brooklyn.” He’ll bring us to present day as Brooklyn Heights showcases some of the most outstanding brownstone structures in New York City! Attendees are encouraged to share their stories or pictures of themselves in Brooklyn or on the Brooklyn Bridge and for those attending in person, refreshments will be served after the lecture.
