With the Thanksgiving feast behind us, there’s no better time to start thinking about getting active and building healthy habits for the new year. And the 4th Annual Run Santa Run event in Bloomfield offers an opportunity to do just that — all while giving to those in need.
On Saturday, December 1st, Brookdale Park will be hosting a 5K fun run and 1 Mile Family Walk, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The event will feature holiday music, hot cocoa, holiday gifting vendors, food trucks, a raffle and a toy drive, as well as a live Santa on hand to take photos with the kids. Participants and spectators are encouraged to bring gifts to donate to the drive.
