Unwrapping my first model train when I was 5 years old is the earliest memory I have of receiving something I had been waiting for all my little life! Model train collectors typically start early in life and then continue well into old age. Did you know that rockstar swooner Sir Rod Stewart was (and still is) such a passionate model train collector enthusiast, that he’d book an extra hotel room next to his so that he could work on his model trains when he was on tour?? Click right here to learn more about his 23 year project that resulted in his own epic model railway city!

For those local model train lovers (toddler to grandparent) eager to see and feel the real thing, you’re in for a great ,month! Woodbridge residents at  Fox Hill RunForest View, Evergreen East, Evergreen Forest and Cloverleaf Gardens can head over to the Barron Arts Center for the Annual Holiday Model Train Show from 11/27 thru 12/30 11am – 4pm.
