As the holidays approach, travelers heading to, from and around New Jersey can rest easy. NJ Transit has added additional service to ease the burden of holiday traveling, providing an extra level of comfort and convenience to your journey. From December 23rd through January 1st, look for bonus trains at peak travel times, including early getaway service on the afternoon and evening of Thursday, December 23rd, and extra mid-day service from Monday, December 27th through Wednesday, December 30th.
Moreover, on New Year’s Eve, additional late-night service has been added to both train and bus lines, allowing for safe transportation following New Year festivities. Please note that Weekend/Holiday Schedules will be in effect on December 24th for NJ Transit trains.
