    Often referred to as “the hole in the donut,” Metuchen is surrounded on all sides by Edison Township. This 2.7 square mile town has approximately 13,000 residents and is home to four public schools: Moss School, Campbell Elementary School, Edgar Middle School, and Metuchen High School, which has approximately 700 students.

    Metuchen’s small town charm is evident in its vibrant Main Street, complete with restaurants, retail establishments, and coffee shops. Moreover, the township is convenient to all Edison Township amenities, including the JFK Medical Center and Menlo Park Mall. In addition, Metuchen offers an abundance of nature by way of Centennial Park, a 13-acre open space reachable from Grove Avenue, and home to a diverse assortment of plants and wildlife.

    Metuchen is accessible via Exit 131 off of the Garden State Parkway and Exit 10 off of the NJ Turnpike, and is reachable via I-287, Route 440 and Route 1.
