    Just minutes from Newark Airport, Elizabeth has two train stations, Elizabeth Station and North Elizabeth Station—both serviced by NJ Transit’s Northeast Corridor Line and North Jersey Coastline. Conveniently located off of both the NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway, Elizabeth is also accessible via Interstate 78 and Routes 1, 22, 27, 28 and 82.

    Elizabeth has many shopping options, including Jersey Gardens Mall, New Jersey’s largest outlet mall, which offers a variety of discount shopping opportunities. It also hosts the Jersey Gardens Movie Theater, one of the largest theaters in the Northeast. Elizabeth is also full of rich history and there are many historical tours and monuments that allow visitors to learn about that history. Boxwood Hall was the home of Elias Boudinot, who was the President of the Continental Congress and signed the peace treaty with Great Britain at the end of the Revolution.
