On September 11th and 12th, expect a rush of music lovers into Union County. Concertgoers from all over New Jersey and surrounding states will be flocking to Clark to hear famous musical acts including Spoon, Train, Suzanne Vega and the Zombies perform live at MusicFest ’10, Union County’s late-summer rock festival. Now in its 13th year, MusicFest consistently brings big name performers to the county.
Last year’s MusicFest included famous acts Third Eye Blind, the Gin Blossoms and Pete Yorn, while attracting over 70,000 attendees to the area. This year, the festival anticipates an equally sizable all-ages crowd at Oak Ridge Park. In addition to its star-studded musical lineup, the festival will feature an array of vendors, a fleet of BMX stunt riders, and a cultural arts showcase, plus a fundraising walk-a-thon, 5k run and more. Family-oriented programming includes a travelling jubilee featuring a petting zoo and pony rides.
