Where the old John F. Kennedy High School once stood in Willingboro, NJ now stands a community center. And that community center just underwent a serious renovation.
Today, it is known as the Kennedy Banquet Facility, and it will be revealed to the public in its renovated splendor on April 2, 2015 at a gala in the new facility.
The $4.8million makeover includes rewiring and remodeling. Public officials appear confident that the new facility will be a source of pride for the community, calling it “transformative” and “state of the art.” With a 600-person capacity, the new banquet hall will be available for private bookings for individuals or groups. The next stage of the renovation will include landscaping, the completion of a performing arts center and the addition of an outdoor tower.
