This presentation educates families on the basic rights in education law, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the applicable state provisions. It covers what is meant by a free and appropriate public educational, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Evaluations, Re-evaluations, compensatory education, and implementing basic rights in education when schools are closed.
