Community means helping out when you can — lending a hand when you’re able and knowing that others will offer you assistance if and when you need it. It means being supported, and supporting others. And in Woodbridge Township, the community spirit is strong.
This April, Woodbridge residents are invited to take part in the township’s annual “Tooling Around the Township” event, an opportunity to put the spirit of community into practice. On April 30th, volunteers will perform repairs on the homes of Woodbridge residents who are elderly, low-income or disabled.
Volunteers are welcome to sign up online, indicating any special skills they can offer, while local businesses and individuals are invited to sponsor the project either by providing financial donations or gifting materials for repairs. A great opportunity to give back to your community, get to know your neighbors, and do some meaningful work, Tool Around the Township is a township event that’s not to be missed.
