What comes to mind when you think of Easter? If it’s egg hunts, bunnies and parades, you’re not alone — and you’re in luck. This Saturday, March 26th marks Woodbridge Township’s 12th annual Easter celebration, filled with an Easter bonnet parade, mini Easter egg hunts and much more.
From 1-3pm on Saturday, families are invited to head out to Colonia Middle School for activities including face painting and an easter egg hunt, plus prizes awarded in a range of categories — including funniest, most creative and best looking bonnet or hat. The day continues with goods sold by vendors and visits from Freddy the Talking Fire Truck, Sparkee the Somerset Patriot Mascot and, of course, the Easter Bunny. Vendors looking to get involved in the fun are welcome to get in touch with the office of Councilwoman Debbie Meehan.
Attendees are asked to give a $5 donation per child. Admission is free for accompanying adults.
