A $47 million renovation of Metropark Train Station in Woodbridge, now complete, has transformed the station from ugly, blind, deaf, and cold, into a beautiful, visual, sonic, and warm station that is a joy to use.

Always a busy station, Metropark now boasts longer, wider platforms with climate-controlled shelters, an expanded waiting room with 2 vendors, vastly better speakers, and 30 large arrival screens. A new pedestrian access from Route 27 to the westbound platform has also opened. Bicycle racks have been relocated to a more convenient and less obtrusive pad next to lockers. Beautiful murals and sophisticated lighting complete the revolution.

Located just north of the intersection of Thornall Street and Wood Avenue in the Iselin section of Woodbridge, Metropark is one of the most heavily trafficked train stations in the state. Servicing NJ Transit”s Northeast Corridor line and four Amtrak routes, this four-track station connects passengers to urban centers like New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC, and to other towns in the Garden State.

BestRentNJ communities to benefit most are Hidden Valley, Hilltop, Trafalger, Gill LaneGreen Plaza, Tyler Green, and Woodbridge Terrace.
