Woodbridge is a township filled with creativity — musicians, visual artists, theater makers and more abound in the community. And add to the list: poets and poetry lovers alike. This August 16th and 17th, look forward to the 3rd Annual Woodbridge Poetry Festival, a celebration of words in the heart of town.

Held at the Barron Arts Center, the festival launches with a kick-off party from 7pm-10pm on August 16th, with programming that includes readings by Deborah Laveglia and Chris Rockwell, curators of the event, along with readings from other poets. From 11am-5pm the following day, the event continues with readings from award-winning poets and spoken word artists from the wider area, plus live music, workshops, a poetry slam, roundtables, open mics and more. Admission is free and RSVP is not required.
