“Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.” – Andy Warhol

You can’t go wrong making art just by making it as Mr. Warhol knew and skillfully exploited. Ewing Township residents at Ewing Town CenterRiver Linksand Delaware Heights can exercise their inner Picasso or O’Keefe by heading to an unlikely free supply source – the trash bin – for their next artistic creation in the hopes of competing in the 3rd ANNUAL VIRTUAL TRASHed ART CONTEST sponsored by the Lawrence Headquarters of the Mercer County Library.

Trashed art is not just a gimmick as some important artists have learned. By clicking here you can learn about 13 artists who go about making art from trash and recycled materials to inspire you even more!

Entries to the contest must be submitted by 5pm April 8 and there are two ways to submit your entry;

  1. Fill out the TrashedArt Contest Entry Form online by clicking here.
