Run like the wind! On Sunday, April 24th, 2016, Montgomery Township, NJ will be holding its 10th Annual Run with Rotary 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run, hosted by the Montgomery-Rocky Hill Rotary Club.
Held in Skillman’s beautiful Skillman Park, the race begins at Laroque Circle. Last year’s race brought out approximately 1000 runners and walkers, while this year, organizers expect over 1,200 participants, who are welcome to sign up as individuals or in teams. In addition to racing for time, teams are welcome to compete to be judged “Most Spirited” or “Best Dressed Team.”
All proceeds go to the Rotary Club of Montgomery Rocky Hill Foundation, a local nonprofit involved in a range activities from the local to the national level — including food pantry support, relief for natural disaster victims, and programs that work on the eradication of diseases.
The ramble/walk kicks off at 10:00am, to be followed shortly thereafter by the 5K Road Race/walk, starting at 10:35am.
